-The "mask" shaped object is a multi-filter holder which can be internally flipped via an external knob.

-An externally accessed rod controls focus of the camera lens (the camera is not installed).

-The mirror adjusting plate mechanism is custom, but uses simple, low-cost components, and allows the mirror to be set-up via external access..
