Designed to
incorporate an existing telephone handset, this housing is comprised of a clamshell case
plus bezel The handset cord self retracts into a semi-hidden well. This project was executed in 1981, before CAD was commonly utilized. The engineering layout and part drawings were hand drawn on vellum. Rick Fayram designed and detailed the enclosure while freelance designing at Hall Design. Rick Fayram also personally constructed most of the prototype unit, utilizing acrylic plastic and epoxy/fiberglass. Injection Molded ABS |
